Enjoying Denver!

We have been in Denver this week.. and will be staying another 4 days. We've enjoyed ourselves. We will have tons of pictures but here is one so far..

Fun at the Bees Game..

Jake's work got all of the managers and their families out to the game.. we had a good time socializing.. here are a few pictures of my cute family.. I enjoy Jake's co-workers and their wives. We always have a good time with everyone..

Dance that stole the night..

LOVED LOVED LOVED the lyrical routine by Wade Robson (song.. "Slow dancing in a burning room." by John Mayer) danced by Katee and Joshua once again! They just show so much emotion through each movement. I could watch it over and over again! I am looking forward to tonight to find out who the winner is...

Oh and I loved Katee's individual routine by Imogen Heap.... but truth is, I love to watch all of them dance. They are all soo good.

Latest Mandy project (updated)..

So I have had this empty basement room and left a few toys down there and a old tv.. but it was a place Isaiah never really wanted to be. I felt like we were wasting so much space. So I woke up one day and I had an idea...I was going to change that boring cold room into a fun kids playroom- where kids actually want to hang out (away from us adults). I put in a costume corner.. where they can try on all different costumes and dress up as super hero's and then a crazy mirror next to it so they can see themselves, then a place to do activities, draw, paint, work on the tool shop, put together a train, and a race car track. Best part is that they can watch movies while attempting it all.. :) Hopefully it will keep him down there long periods of time!

Having Fun in the Sun...

We decided to go up and use my sister's pool today for the first time. This is the first time my family has gone swimming all summer. Isaiah is not the greatest in the water and I blame myself, I need to teach him and get him out more... So he was petrified at first but by the end of the time we were there, Debra made sure to dunk him... he was doing really well. So hopefully it helped! London was adorable and just laying out like she was 16 years old... She didn't make a peep the whole time we were there. We got into the water and she just relaxed in her float up princess boat...

She looks JUST LIKE ME in that last picture.. most of the time she looks like Jake and that is the first picture where I can definitely see myself..

Quite the romantic..

I think my dad will kill me if he found out I posted this on my blog.. but I found this sitting in my parents room. I can honestly say this is the first time I have seen anything like this between my parents... I am so glad they are in love after 30 years together. I am really lucky and it is so sweet to hear some of the things that my dad loves about dear old Karen:) They are good together.. definitely balance each other out. I guess true love can exist for that long!
