A family night of Christmas decorating... crazy Martin's..

Operation binky....

Has been a success!! YEA. It has been over a week now that the binky went missing and he is sleeping really well again. I am so proud of him. He really is an easy child to make changes with. He loves his Lightning McQueen pillow that has Mater on the back of it. I catch myself going in to his room after he has been asleep and laying with him..
I'm almost finished with Christmas.. I feel like we had no budget this year and it was all chaotic the way we just bought whenever but it doesn't help when your son's birthday is a few days later.. so yes I automatically feel like we spoiled him. I guess it is okay to do that since this is the last year he will be alone for this holiday. Now he will have at least one sibling to share it with.
We have decided on a different name for our baby girl (we call her baby bunny). I don't want to disclose it yet since it isn't set in stone but we are thrilled about it and feel it fits her well (and we haven't even seen her yet)!
We went to the Premier of Tears of a King last night. It is the LDS movie they did about Elvis reading the Book of Mormon. It was fun to go and see some of the Osmond's there and the producers and stars of the show, however the show itself wasn't great. I wish it was but honestly, I can't lie! I was proud of my sisters and their song at the end.. now that was the best part:)

No more binky!

Yes I am guilty.. Isaiah has still had his binky. I had potty trained him, taken away his home, his crib, etc... So I never felt good about taking his huge security to sleep.. however it has been something on my mind every single day for months. I finally just knew I had to do it.. it literally broke my heart. This is something he has had since the day he was born that he loved and adored.. It has been one of the hardest things I've ever done with him. He has yet to go to sleep or stay asleep for 3 nights. What a challenge. I feel like I am teaching him to learn to sleep through the night again. When he cries for it in the night, you can see in his eyes that he is so sincere in needing it. Hopefully tonight will be a better night. Today I let him pick out a pillow at the store that he would love to sleep with when he was sad about his binky.. he chose a Lightning McQueen pillow.. Cross your fingers!

Santa "Tause"

I said I would post a picture of Isaiah sitting on Isaiah's lap.. here it is... I hope everyone is doing well during this holiday season!!

World's Smallest House.. ha

I thought I should post this because it gave me a good laugh.. My sister was having a really bad day and not in the smiling mood and we were driving to get some food by my house and I glanced at this smallest house I've ever seen. I am sure there is smaller homes than this but this just shocked me because in all the years I have lived in this area, I have never seen this house. It was so cute and shocking, that we both busted up laughing.. there is no way a normal sized person could fit in the back door that we saw! It was nice that it helped my sister smile for at least a few minutes that day...

O Christmas Tree

So our internet is now up and going (we found the modem finally) and we are still getting settled in our new home. I love it here. I am still going through boxes daily but it is getting better and better. Last night we decided we better put up our tree and as we went to do that we couldn't find our box of ornaments! So we went out and bought some more and changed our tree this year. Here is a picture of it...

I love it because it isn't as traditional as we usually do it, so it is a nice change. Isaiah had a blast getting out the decorations last night. I have never seen a kid so full of the Christmas spirit. He sang Christmas songs the whole time (even if he didn't know the words).
I will update you guys more soon..

Grew ten inches..

Okay so seriously in the past week or so, my stomach has gotten HUGE. I feel like I am seriously nine months pregnant. She is super high and it makes me so uncomfortable. My back has been soooo tight and uncomfortable, so today I just decided I am getting a massage. Not just a massage, but an hour and a half massage. Let's just say that went by like just a few minutes. If I had a ton of money, I would get massages weekly. Anyway, if I am carrying this baby for another 3 1/2 months, I deserve a massage consistently... okay I just convinced myself, now it is convincing Jake:)
We are moving this week, and I am super excited...
We took Isaiah to see "Santa Tause" (as he would say it) and he ran right up to his lap and was so excited to tell him what he wanted and as soon as Santa asked him, his mind went blank and he gave me the most confused face. He said, "I don't we-member." It was the cutest thing. I wish I had that on our video cam. Made my day.
Jake has been the shopper this year. He did the 4am shopping on black friday and has been doing it since.. My back and legs just can't do it this year. I am grateful that he is patient with me for the most part.

Randomness...

I came across a few random pictures on my parents computer, so I figured I would share with you all...
First pictures is my beautiful sisters..

Now is a BIG FAT PICTURE of me being 9 months pregnant, and KNOWING I was about to pop any second... looking miserable as hell:) But best of all, with my beautiful grandparents.

This is just a family picture we had taken that I usually wouldn't have let ANYONE see because I thought it was awful, however, I am now sharing it with you.. so enjoy..

This one is of my mother and I and a while back I put a poem about mother's on the front of it... but this one is always a keeper.

This picture was fun.. right after Isaiah was born we were at home and Jake took this picture and had fun with it on Adobe Photoshop. Soooo.. That's Isaiah and I..

Soooooooooo nothing new..

Okay well.. thought I should write and update but not much to write about except poor little Isaiah got the stomach flu. It is so funny how I was writing in my friends blog on how lucky we were to not have been sick in our house for quite a while, then BAM.... he woke up and started throwing up within an hour of writing that. I guess I should have knocked on wood. Poor little guy couldn't stop throwing up for a long time, then was fine all day yesterday and then woke up in the night again and threw up a few more times. How long can this bug last?
We are living at my parents still. We will be moving by December 1st. I am really excited. It seems like such a fun area.. I think it will be perfect for us.
I think I have the pregnancy hormones going crazy today because I have been crying about such dumb stuff but when it rains it pours! It is so hard to feel attractive while pregnant. I feel huge and uncomfortable. This little bunny is quite different than my 1st. Can't wait until she is OUT:) Counting down the days...

Sunday best..

We put Isaiah in a little suit and he looked so adorable, we couldn't pass up on taking pictures. All the 12-13 year old girls kept saying hi to him in the hall and he just got a smirk on his face. I said, "Are those your girlfriends?" and he said, "No MOM!!! My teachers." I can't believe how old he is getting.. it seems like yesterday when we put him in nursery and he was frightened to death, now he runs the place. He is going to be a sunbeam in a month...
Jake and I are doing really well. I missed him while he went on his business trip to Chicago. We went out with his friends on Saturday night for his birthday and had a great time. I don't think I've laughed that hard in the longest time..
We found a great place to move.. so we are looking forward to that in 3 weeks.
We just had a check up on this new baby.. I'm 21 weeks, so at least I'm a little over halfway.. she is growing, which means my belly is growing.. wow I feel huge. I sat in the movie theater the other night and let's just say I acted like I was 9 months along.. I was SO uncomfortable and moved every second trying to find a way to sit still.. it was awful. I feel like I have every symptom a pregnant lady has... Soooo OVER IT! :) But we are excited for her to come out.

Age Ain't Nothin But A Number

My best friend Jen and I get together at LEAST once a week to do absolutely nothing but chat and watch a few of our favorite TV shows... and we have the two boys and we never know what to do with them cause they are on such different levels of entertaining... but Jen was smart enough to get the blanket out and put in a movie for them... they bonded so much and became best friends immediately (just like they were the same age)... it was adorable.. had to share.

Looooooooooong update:)

Soooo I've been wanting to update you all but man, I haven't had a second to even sit and do it. Well last week was our "moving" week. We were moving into a townhome to rent temporarily and so the day of moving, my husband saw this guy standing out next door staring at us. Jake really always is very cautious about other people and a good discernment. So we got home after moving our couch in to our new place and Jake had me look up the sexual offenders in that area and what pops up first.... yep... that guy. He is a child rapist.. I was in shock. I can't even imagine living next door to someone that has done such a thing and can easily re-offend again. So we were mid moving while we had people helping us and we had to call and get another storage unit and store everything in it and temporarily move to my mom's until we find another place. In the midst of this all... I back out into the storage pod that was in our driveway and scrape up and dent the heck out of my car... and on top of that, we find out that it was in our contract that we were supposed to leave our front room living room set. I didn't realize this.. so I am pretty bummed about it. So now here we are living at my parents.. I have like 4 outfits and same with Isaiah... everything we own is in two different storage sheds and have NO idea where anything specific is... Sooo it's been eventful to say the least.
Today we are going to our ultrasound appointment and hope everything is okay with this little angel!
Anyway, I'll keep ya'll posted:)

How can you love someone this much?

My friends and I went to the Scarecrow Festival last week and had a good time. My little guy is still such a scardy cat right now, so we can't enjoy "everything" yet.. but I look at these pictures and then think.. is it possible to love someone SO much? I never thought it would be like this..

We're having a baby girl!!!

Last week we went to Fetal Fotos and found out it is a baby girl. We are so excited to have her! We are so blessed. When the lady doing the ultrasound told Isaiah he was going to have a baby sister he looked at her with the most confused face and said, "WHY?" I haven't been that naturally high for a long time. It was nice to see what has been cooking inside while I've felt so crummy. Jake said she is already a diva. She has this attitude like.. I'm SO over this already, get me outta here. She was trying so hard to get comfortable while we were watching her.

Day at the Fair

We went to the fair this year and I am SOO proud of Isaiah. He has been so scared of anything this year... he won't do rides, won't get near animals or anything... and he wanted to ride the horse... he was so proud of himself.
Bad news.... my mouth has been aching all weekend and I just went to the dentist... yep they have to redo my root canal from when I had it done in Jr High.. so ridiculous! There is always something to pay for.. it never ends!

My poor baby.. warning, it may be a little graphic!

Little buzzy got a rash a few months ago and slowly it has become worst. I took him to his pediatrician and he had no idea what it was. So I had to wait another week to get him into a specialist. He finally went yesterday and the doctor put some "juice" on them. He told me they would blister up and then leave... but Isaiah immediately got really bad. This is the outcome as of today... He won't let me hold him or carry him. He just sits on the couch... this is the longest the kid has sat still since he was born! Keep him in your prayers.

I tried something new...

Well not long ago, I decided I am sick of doing the same desserts for family parties... so I decided to go for the gusto and make a two layer swirled cake.. it turned out to be a hit and I thought I would show you guys how pretty it was! ha ha.

SOLD

Well our house is officially under contract. I was starting to get nervous! At least I don't have to have it clean all the time now! Geez... that took all my energy. We are sad to leave but we know we are making a smart decision. So now we will have many big decisions to make ahead of us, with a baby on the way:)
Today Isaiah said he wanted pizza for lunch. I decided to go ahead and get it for him. So we went to Pizza Hut and ordered a personal pizza and breadsticks. He was kinda mad at me because he wanted "pizza guy" meaning he wanted the pizza to be delivered. They sure have a mind of their own, don't they?

I am starting to get ancy. I just want to get it done and over with, so we can move on. Anyway... that's it for now. Ta ta

My own Mariachi

My little one is SO obsessed with music. He loves to play instraments and sing and dance. With his hispanic background, he has learned about Mariachi's and his great grandparents gave him his own guitar and sombrero. Here are a few pictures of him in action..
